looking for a Sales Counselor who would be responsible for
achieving maximum occupancy and total revenue potential of the
community by attracting qualified prospects and converting those

- Responsible for nurturing qualified leads through entire sales
process from inquiry to move-in.
- Responsible for community outreach with primary goal of
generating qualified referrals.
- Regularly meets goals, including but not limited to: move-ins,
inquiries, tours, home visits, phone calls, outreach and
events.
- Responds to inquiries, scheduled visits, conducts tours and
closes sales per sales and marketing goals.
- Conducts daily and weekly review of closing strategies for
prospects in the pipeline
- Ensures CRM is being utilized for all internal and external
sales activities.
- Participates in scheduled sales calls.
- Works collaboratively with Sales Director, Executive Director,
and other department heads to create a positive
hospitality-oriented atmosphere for all Team members and
residents.
- Gives exceptional customer service to residents and visitors,
from providing a pleasant greeting to maintaining professionalism
and composure in more challenging situations.
- Recognizes and fosters a sales-oriented culture by
participating in and contributing toward the sales and marketing
efforts of the community, including assisting at events when
needed.
- Completes all departmental-related reports in an accurate and
timely manner.
- Works collaboratively with department heads to emphasize the
team's role in sales
- Attends and actively contributes relevant departmental
information at daily Stand-Up Meeting.
- Attends and actively participates in company-hosted webinars,
on-site meetings, regional meetings and national meetings as
scheduled.
- Completes in a timely manner all required trainings to maintain
appropriate certifications and credentials for position.

- Three years sales/marketing experience with a proven track
record.
- Demonstrated abilities in organization, communication,
enthusiasm, and effective interpersonal skills.
- Database management computer skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in fast-paced
environment.
- Excellent customer service and public relations skills.
- Creative, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, flexible,
encouraging and team-oriented personality.
- Desire to serve older adults.
- Promotes the community in a positive manner and effectively
communicates with residents, families, professionals, visitors and
Team members.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office and other
marketing-related software.
- College degree preferred.Working ConditionsThe Sales Counselor
works in a professional office environment. The Sales Counselor
routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones,
printers, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The Sales
Counselor also works within the Senior Living Community, where
there may be possible exposure to communicable diseases and
infection, potential injury from transferring, repositioning, or
lifting residents, exposure to latex, possible exposure to
blood-borne pathogens, possible exposure to various chemical,
infectious, or biological hazards, and possible exposure to pets.
Occasional weekend, evening or night work may be necessary to
maintain critical business operations. Physical RequirementsThis
job requires the ability to: lift files, open filing cabinets, bend
or stand, as necessary, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel,
crouch, crawl, talk, hear and see, lift up to 50 pounds, and
interact with co-workers, residents or vendors. Direct ReportsThe
Assistant Executive Director reports director to the Executive
