Accounts Payable ClerkA. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIESThe Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for vouchering invoices received, reconciling vendor statements, and maintaining the vendor records are accurate and up to date.B. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPWork is performed under the direction of the Accounts Payable SupervisorC. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Ensures applicable purchase orders for each invoice. Analyzes invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment. Adhere to company policies for proper handling and coding of invoices. Reconciles accounts payable detail with other applicable records (vendor statements) Researching and resolving accounts payable issues with vendors Ensures required vendor information has been collected from all new vendors. Receive, analyze, and voucher expense reports and credit card transactions according to expense reporting policy Process daily remote check deposits Fleet Management Perform other related work as required Job Requirements:REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESPrior experience in accounts payable. Exceptionally strong organizational skills. Ability to manage individual workload efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with strong focus on Outlook and Excel. Solid communication skills which facilitate effective verbal and written communication with members of the Company's management staff, professional and administrative staff, and clients. E. Education and ExperienceAn associate degree from an accredited college preferred but not required. Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience. Experience operating computer systems, accounting software, peripherals, and other business machines. Experience with Web-based, Windows- based, and other data entry processes.
