At BJ's Wholesale Club, an accomplished leader in the wholesale and retail market, we are seeking a dedicated Assistant Club Manager Perishables to enhance our team in Retail Operations. Located on the vibrant East Coast and in Ohio, this role focuses on the management of our perishable goods sector, ensuring high standards of merchandise quality, stock management, and customer satisfaction. Your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our perishable departments, such as produce, dairy, meat, and bakery, by integrating effective practices and collaboration across the team. Oversee the daily operations of the perishables department, ensuring the quality and freshness of products. Implement and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within all perishable departments. Train and mentor department staff, promoting an environment of high performance and continuous improvement. Analyze sales data and inventory levels to forecast needs and order supplies accordingly. Collaborate with other managers to ensure a cohesive operation between perishable departments and other areas of the store. Address customer complaints and issues relating to perishable items, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Execute merchandising and promotional strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
