Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 4x10hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 23, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience and ARRT or RCIS certification for a 4x10 day shift contract position. Details - Cardiac Cath Lab setting serving a middle adult to geriatric patient population - Procedures include diagnostic right and left heart cath, interventional cath, Rotablator, IABP, and closure devices - Requires ability to both scrub and circulate - 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM - Epic EMR experience required - Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are considered Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required - ARRT or RCIS certification required - BLS and ACLS via AHA required - FL RN license or compact license required if applicable - Proficiency in sterile procedure and equipment set-up required - Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required - Epic EMR experience required Additional Information - Candidate must pass a Basic Arrhythmia (EKG) assessment — this is a pass/fail requirement for this unit - Candidates who do not score 100% on the lethal rhythm section may be given one opportunity to retake the dysrhythmia exam within 24 hours; passing requires an overall Angoff score of 83% or higher, 100% on lethal rhythms, and 83% on all other sections - A study guide and tips for the arrhythmia assessment are available through the facility's online orientation portal - Proof of vaccination status is required — declinations are not accepted - This is a smoke-free facility American Traveler Job ID P-678183.
