Weston offers safe neighborhoods, top-rated schools, and a vibrant community life, making this an ideal Florida travel nursing job for both work and leisure. /n/nJob Details/n /n - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026)/n - Role: CVOR Registered Nurse (Cardiovascular Operating Room RN) – Travel Nurse / Travel RN opportunity/n - Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Facility (Cardiovascular/Thoracic surgery)/n - Shift: 3x12-Hour Day Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM)/n - Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed/n - Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) — cardiac OR, scrub and circulating roles/n - On-Call: Cardiac call required (minimum 6 per month, may vary)/n - Charting: EPIC (experience with EPIC preferred)/n - Scrub Color: Ceil Blue/n - Parking: Free in any unrestricted space/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020-$2130/week/n /n/nJob Requirements/n /n - Minimum 18 months of direct CVOR RN experience required; 2 years preferred (CVOR RN jobs and cardiac OR experience highly valued)/n - Must have scrub experience and be able to function as a scrub nurse in the CVOR/n - Active Registered Nurse license (no pending licenses accepted)/n - Certifications required at time of submission: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS/n - NIHSS certification (must obtain prior to start)/n - Nicotine-free (negative cotinine test required)/n - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)/n - Willingness to participate in training and work with students/new staff in a teaching hospital/n - Ability to float within scope as needed to other surgical or perioperative areas/n - Must complete time-sensitive onboarding modules prior to start/n - 2 references from direct supervisors/managers required/n - Successful completion of EKG and Pharm tests during orientation (2 attempts max)/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide expert perioperative nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, functioning as both circulating and scrub nurse as needed/n - Participate in cardiac call rotation and respond to urgent surgical cases in the CVOR/n - Assist with a broad range of cardiovascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, LVAD/RVAD, TAVR, thoracic and vascular surgeries/n - Maintain strict adherence to infection control, laser safety, and universal protocols in the OR/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a teaching environment, supporting training for students and new staff/n - Float to other surgical cases within scope when CVOR cases are not scheduled/n - Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC/n - Prioritize and complete required onboarding modules and annual training in a timely manner/n /n/n Apply now — Submit your resume, current RN license, BLS/ACLS certifications, and two supervisor references.
