Job Description Job Description If the donors don't know, they won't show! Join our team as a Blood Donor Ambassador for our Mobiles team at OneBlood. As a Blood Donor Ambassador (or Donor Recruiter), you will be recruiting potential blood donors at promotional, community, and corporate blood drives to ensure a drive meets its desired projection. RESPONSIBILITIES: Greets, interacts with and encourages potential donors to donate Displays posters/signs supplying information to potential donors Assists with donor refreshments and/or gifts when requested by designated staff Assists in maintaining relationship between blood drive chairpersons and organization. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Competitive Salary: $18.50/hour plus $3-$5 Weekend Shift Differential PTO 403b retirement plan Employee assistance program! QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent experience Valid driver’s license and clear driving record with the ability to commute with reliable transportation Open availability with no schedule restrictions Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Ability to work outdoors 100% of the time with potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, fumes and/or poor ventilation, wetness, humidity, rain, temperature and noise extremes, machinery and/or moving vehicles Previous experience in sales, canvasing, door to door sales, B2B sales, customer service preferred.
