Diem/PRN - Joplin and Nearby Areas This role is for a Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) who will work on a flexible, per diem basis
at a hospital in Joplin and its surrounding areas, delivering
patient care under supervision. The position entails providing care
across various departments, such as Medical-Surgical and Behavioral
Health, and requires appropriate licensure, Basic Life Support
(BLS), and IV certification. The job offers adaptable shifts,
various incentives, and emphasizes the importance of patient
confidentiality, teamwork, and compliance with nursing standards.

will provide patient care under the guidance of licensed
professionals authorized to prescribe medications and treatments,
or under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). You will
maintain professional accountability for the care of assigned
patients and coordinate patient care in collaboration with other
departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are
upheld. Position Overview: Location: Hospital in Joplin and
Surrounding Areas Department: GIG Status: PRN/Per
Diem/Flexible/Float Shift: Varies BeAMercyNurse Incentives:
$30/hour base pay Variable shift incentives W-2 employee status
Minimum of 12 hours worked every 90 days Shifts available in 4, 8,
or 12-hour increments Flexible work opportunities throughout the
community based on your availability Position Summary Are you
looking for a flexible LPN role with incentives? You can choose
between day or night shifts that suit your schedule! There are no
mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift commitments. Participation in
the Gig Nursing Program requires you to manage a minimum number of
hours, be available on short notice, and be adaptable to
last-minute shift cancellations. Please note that the Gig Nursing
Program does not guarantee shift hours and will be prioritized for
cancellations. Departments Seeking GIG LPNs: Medical-Surgical (MS)
Behavioral Health (BH) Qualifications: Required Education: High
school diploma or GED equivalent. Completion of an accredited
practical nursing program; relevant educational experience and
successful licensure will also be considered. Licensure: Must
obtain and maintain a current compact LPN license. Experience: At
least one year of recent bedside LPN experience. Preferred
Experience: Experience with Epic software. Certifications: BLS
certification required for Medical-Surgical and Behavioral Health.
IV certification is mandatory. Additional certifications may be
required post-hire. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and
walk for most of the shift; significant bending, stooping, and
lifting of patients with assistance; ability to push/pull/grip up
