Overview: The Oncology Nurse Navigator is a dedicated registered
nurse who oversees patient care throughout the entire treatment
process for oncology patients. This role involves collaboration
with patients, their families, healthcare providers, and a
multidisciplinary team. Essential skills include clinical
knowledge, patient education, and the ability to facilitate support
groups in an oncology environment. Applicants must possess a valid
RN license, relevant experience, and preferably an oncology

is a nursing professional who guides patients through their care
journey. This role demands a high level of clinical expertise to
coordinate all facets of treatment and care, working closely with
patients, their families, physicians, the interdisciplinary team,
and additional support staff. Position Details: Essential
Qualifications: Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing
program Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related field
Licensure: RN (Registered Nurse) license valid in the state of
practice Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
required within 30 days of employment Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Experience: 3 years in an
oncology environment is preferred Experience in formal patient
education and community presentations Facilitation of support
groups Certifications: Oncology Nursing Certification or
Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification Physical Requirements:
Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Prolonged standing and walking required during each shift
Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as
