Lifespace Communities would like to introduce the opportunity to become a Regional Director of Sales and Marketing.

This Regional Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the strategic marketing plan for each community, in addition to contributing to the development of the community marketing budgets, occupancy/census targets, and sales protocols for the organization.

  • Drive sales productivity at each community.
  • Implement organization-wide sales training and system protocols at each community.
  • Implement organization-wide (REPS) lead tracking system by maintaining accountability and monitoring at the community level, providing on-site coaching for executive directors and sales teams, and REPS training.
  • Train new sales team members, both individually and in group settings.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training curriculum.
  • Conduct on-site visits to the communities on a regular basis to provide sales application training, as well as, to review marketing activity, sales, events, advertising effectiveness, upcoming events, and miscellaneous related to the overall marketing program. Participate in sales presentations and call-outs with sales counselors for the purpose of coaching and monitoring performance.
  • Review regular sales reports to support census goals.
  • Oversee and coach market research activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of community outreach programs to increase referral activity.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of community ambassador and future resident programs.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing plans for communities organization-wide and pre-marketed communities in the development and construction phase.
  • Assist with development and implementation of turn-around action plans for struggling properties. Assist in diagnostics marketing audits of troubled communities and create plans to increase occupancy/revenue.
  • Assist with oversight of community marketing plans to optimize sales results through website and Internet marketing initiatives, direct mail campaigns, radio and video development, and print advertising.
  • Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
  • Obtain knowledge and demonstrate the principles of Living Lifespace , person directed care and successful aging philosophies and their inherent core values of commitment, respect, compassion, dedication, team work and quality.
  • Team member will support, actively participate and act in accordance with the principles of the Living Lifespace service culture and be familiar with and fluent in the language and service pillars of Living Lifespace.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings. And heres what you need to apply:
    • Bachelors degree in marketing or related field
    • Eight to ten years marketing/sales leader experience, preferably in a regional capacity over multiple communities.
    • Minimum of three years of experience in implementing successful business development strategies in various types of markets.
    • Experience leading a team preferred.
    • Strategic marketing experience within the continuing care retirement environment is required.
    • Creative thinker with defined experience in developing markets within retirement housing and lead the creation of marketing and sales strategies.
    • Organized, effective communicator who can speak well to individuals, or to groups, who makes a good first impression, and is empathetic toward others.
    • Thorough understanding of retirement housing and referral sources and the ability to identify market needs and trends.
    • History of successful sales training of internal and external marketing staff, a proven history of achieving or exceeding census goals, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and REPS lead tracking system.
    • Possess drive and perseverance and be committed to going the extra mile to achieve the marketing and sales goals within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
    • Be a high-energy, self-starter with a strong goal orientation and a big picture perspective.
    • High ethical standards and have a personal reputation that would reflect well on the organization.
    • High standard of care and concern for current and future residents, as well as their family members.
    • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
