Editorial Director Company Name Legacy Research Group, LLC ID 2021-1400 Job Locations US-FL-Delray Beach Category Editorial Type Regular Full-Time Overview The Editorial Director's main job is to ensure that Legacy continues to produce the best financial research in our industry. You pitch in wherever you're needed. You're never passive, cynical, or lazy. You can run a team of dozens, but you're happy to get your hands dirty all the way down to clicking links and proofing text. In concert with our Editor-in-Chief, you're responsible for launching new products, franchises, and brands. You can coordinate with - and inspire action from - all areas of the business. You're a resource for our stellar team of senior managing editors. You're good at offering second opinions and balancing the priorities of the gurus, the readers, and the business. You ensure our research is top-notch. You love the markets, you invest your own money, and you can help sharpen everyone's thinking. You know what will work for readers. You identify marketable angles in editorial. You nudge the gurus toward useful lines of inquiry. You can pitch to copywriters and marketers. And you can champion a big idea through to execution. You jump on special projects and experiments. You like the thought of planning a conference, creating an educational series, and generating content for a new channel. You're ready to help drive the business - and be well rewarded for it. Your days will not be mundane or boring. Responsibilities
    • Collect, edit, proof, and publish content for both promotional use and fulfillment
    • Analyze market research to create content that supports overall sales strategies
    • Lead on content ideas and unique concepts to retain, and increase, subscriber base
    • Leverage knowledge of market trends and products to ensure content appropriateness
    • Work across departments to build, package, promote, and deliver editorial content that drives revenue
    • Write exceptional content as a catalyst to launch new promotions and products Qualifications
      • Several years of successful work at a financial newsletter business
      • A track record of successful trading and/or investing
      • Exceptional writing skills
      • Ability to work on a cross-functional team
      • An eye for detail and a strong work ethic
      • Proven track record of adhering to a complex editorial calendar
      • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
      • Sales oriented mindset
