An established and respected General Contractor in South Florida is seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator to join their growing preconstruction team. Description Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial projects (ground-up and interiors) Analyze drawings, specifications, and subcontractor bids to determine project scope and cost Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients during the preconstruction phase Lead budgeting efforts from schematic design through final construction documents Maintain historical cost data and develop unit pricing standards Identify and mitigate cost risks and opportunities throughout the estimating process Profile 10 years of estimating experience in commercial construction (retail, office, hospitality, etc.) Proven ability to work with conceptual and detailed plans to build comprehensive estimates Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, materials, and building codes Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Proficient with estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or Sage Estimating) Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Job Offer Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses Full benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off Opportunity to work on signature South Florida projects with a high-caliber team Clear path to growth into senior preconstruction or project management roles MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
