We are looking for a Service Manager to lead our Facilities & Maintenance team with expertise and exceptional leadership skills. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring maintenance schedules are met, and improving overall service efficiency within the framework of Suburban Propane's standards. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the facilities and maintenance department. Ensure optimal functioning of all physical assets through regular inspections and preventive maintenance. Lead, train, and mentor maintenance staff, ensuring high levels of technical skills and customer service. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to reduce downtime and costs while increasing productivity. Manage contracts and relations with service providers, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and coordinate with safety officers to implement firm-wide safety policies. Prepare and control the annual maintenance budget and forecasts. Report on maintenance activities and system performance to upper management. Proven ability in facility management and maintenance operations. Strong leadership and personnel management skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Working knowledge of procurement and budget management. Familiarity with safety regulation compliance and energy management systems.
