Cutting Edge Recruiting Solutions (CERS) has a need for a Staff Accountant for a premier long-time client. With over 30 years of industry experience our client is medtech's global leader in talent acquisition and branding. The Staff Accountant performs various technical accounting functions and analytical reviews for a designated accounting area. This position also helps the business unit achieve goals, anticipate needs, and resolve problems.

Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Delray Beach

Salary: $60,000

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with receivables, payable, cash receipts, cash disbursements, bank transactions and general ledger functions
Ensure cash and bank reconciliations and produce cash and bank reports on a daily basis
Assist with reconciliation of all general ledger accounts to subsidiary records on a monthly basis
Prepare monthly closing of general ledger entries
Analysis and coordination of all commission payments
Assist in preparing the month-end closing reports
Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Three or more years related experience preferred
Able to effectively apply accounting knowledge in a fast-paced atmosphere

Advanced knowledge in Excel required
Experienced in QuickBooks

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required.
